Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, sliced into thin strips
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Wash and trim the green beans, then slice the beef into thin strips and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté the chopped onions and minced garlic until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
- Add seasoned beef strips to the skillet and brown on all sides for about 5 minutes.
- Toss in the green beans, stirring to coat them in the flavorful mixture. Cook for another 5 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
- Drizzle soy sauce over the stir-fry and toss everything to ensure even coating.
- Serve immediately on plates or family-style in a bowl, adding any remaining sauce from the pan.
Notes
Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for an extra touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
