Description

Homemade sausage rolls filled with savory chicken and vibrant vegetables, perfect for families and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup carrots, finely chopped
  • 1 cup bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 cup onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the carrots, bell peppers, and onions until tender.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sautéed vegetables with ground chicken, thyme, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling on each rectangle, fold the pastry, and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
