Description

Deliciously flavorful Firecracker Chicken Meatballs that combine sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, garlic, red pepper flakes, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, green onion, and egg. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs, using a cookie scoop for uniform size.
  4. Place meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Toss the baked meatballs in additional sweet chili sauce before serving.

Notes

For a spicier variant, add diced jalapeños. Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
