Description

A stunning no-bake centerpiece for holiday parties, these cheese trees are made with creamy cheese, crunchy pistachios, and tart cranberries, perfect for any festive gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions or herbs
  • 1 cup pistachios, toasted and chopped
  • Whole cranberries for decoration
  • Pretzel sticks or rosemary sprigs for the trunk
  • Honey or neutral oil for adhesion (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and goat cheese until smooth.
  2. Fold in the chopped cranberries and green onions or herbs.
  3. Shape the mixture into a tree shape using plastic wrap or by hand.
  4. Chill the shaped trees in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  5. Once firm, press the chopped pistachios onto the surface.
  6. Add whole cranberries and decorate with pretzel sticks or rosemary sprigs.

Notes

Make mini trees for single-bite hors d’oeuvres. Serve on a board with crackers and fresh fruits for contrast.
