Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh or dried cranberries
  • 12 tablespoons chopped chives
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 12-inch baguette, sliced into 1/3-inch rounds
  • Cranberry pepper jelly (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature.
  2. Fold in cranberries, chives, salt, and lemon zest until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture on toasted baguette rounds.
  4. Toast baguette slices at 375°F (190°C) for about 8–10 minutes until golden, then cool on a wire rack.
  5. Top each crostini with a teaspoon of cranberry pepper jelly.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
