- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh or dried cranberries
- 1–2 tablespoons chopped chives
- A pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 12-inch baguette, sliced into 1/3-inch rounds
- Cranberry pepper jelly (store-bought or homemade)
- Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese at room temperature.
- Fold in cranberries, chives, salt, and lemon zest until well combined.
- Spread the mixture on toasted baguette rounds.
- Toast baguette slices at 375°F (190°C) for about 8–10 minutes until golden, then cool on a wire rack.
- Top each crostini with a teaspoon of cranberry pepper jelly.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
Notes
For best texture, keep components separate until just before serving to preserve crunch. Use quality pepper jelly for the best flavor.
