Description

Bursting with flavor, these stuffed mini peppers are an easy and nutritious appetizer that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 12 mini sweet peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh herbs (chives or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Halve the mini peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Stuff each pepper half with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the peppers are tender and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a spicy version, mix in diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce in the cream cheese.
