Description

Transform your ordinary instant noodles into a gourmet meal with simple add-ins and fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 pack instant ramen
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 soft-boiled egg
  • Sliced green onions
  • Leftover chicken or tofu
  • Dollop of chili crisp
  • Vegetables (broccoli, snap peas, spinach, bell peppers, zucchini)
  • Sesame oil or hot sauce (to taste)
  • Optional: processed cheese, Everything Bagel seasoning, sriracha

Instructions

  1. Boil the instant ramen noodles slightly underdone according to package instructions.
  2. In a separate pan, cook vegetables in a little water while the noodles boil.
  3. Drain the noodles and mix them with the seasonings, butter, garlic, and a splash of soy sauce or sesame oil.
  4. Add the cooked vegetables and proteins (chicken or tofu). Top with a soft-boiled egg and sliced green onions.
  5. If desired, mix in cheese for a creamy texture and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different vegetables and proteins based on what you have on hand. Adjust seasoning to taste.
