- 1 packet Gulab Jamun mix
- Cardamom (a pinch)
- Rose water (a few drops)
- 200g Kunafa pastry
- 100g melted ghee
- Sugar syrup (prepared with sugar and water)
- Pistachios (finely chopped for garnish)
- Rose petals (for garnish)
- Mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Gulab Jamun mix according to package instructions, adding cardamom and rose water.
- Shred the Kunafa into manageable pieces and mix with melted ghee until it resembles moist sand.
- Press the Kunafa mixture into the molds of a muffin tin to form nests.
- Fill each nest with warm Gulab Jamun.
- Fry the nests until golden brown.
- Soak the fried nests in warm sugar syrup immediately after frying.
- Garnish with pistachios, rose petals, and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze nests without syrup for about one month.
