Description

A simple and effective drink made with fresh okra and water that may help with weight loss by promoting fullness and better digestion.


Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 fresh okra pods
  • 1 to 2 cups cool filtered water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the okra pods well and pat dry.
  2. Trim the tips and caps. Slice each pod lengthwise or into thick rounds.
  3. Add the sliced okra to your jar and pour in the water.
  4. Cover and let it sit in the fridge overnight for 8 to 12 hours.
  5. In the morning, strain and drink the water first thing.

Notes

Use the freshest okra for best results. You can refill the jar once with fresh water to make a second serving.
