- 12 oz bow tie pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bow tie pasta until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add diced tomatoes and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in fresh basil and combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, tossing to coat.
- Serve warm, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
