Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, then mash them in a mixing bowl to your desired consistency.
  2. Add chia seeds to the mashed strawberries and mix well.
  3. Stir in honey or maple syrup based on your sweetness preference.
  4. Add fresh lemon juice and water, then mix thoroughly.
  5. Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes to thicken.
  6. Check the consistency; if needed, let it sit longer until desired thickness is achieved.
  7. Transfer the jam to a clean glass jar and seal tightly. Store in the refrigerator.
