- 6 cups Granny Smith or Honeycrisp Apples (Peeled, cored, and sliced into thin wedges)
- ¾ cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ cup Brown Sugar (Packed light or dark)
- 1½ cups Rolled Oats
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter (Melted)
- 1 scoop Ice Cream (Your favorite flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toss sliced apples with granulated sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
- Transfer the apple mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt; mix thoroughly.
- Melt the butter and mix it into the dry ingredients until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream on top.
Notes
For added flavor, drizzle caramel or chocolate sauce over the ice cream. Use a mix of tart and sweet apples for a complex flavor.
