Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (225 g) semi-sweet or milk chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon neutral oil (coconut or vegetable)
  • Optional toppings: nuts, sprinkles, crushed cookies, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Insert a skewer into each marshmallow.
  2. Melt the chocolate with the oil using a double boiler or microwave in 20–30 second bursts.
  3. Dip each marshmallow into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Place on parchment paper and add toppings immediately before the chocolate sets.
  5. Chill briefly for about 5–10 minutes to firm up the chocolate.

Notes

For best results, keep marshmallows at room temperature before dipping to avoid chocolate seizing. Use high-quality chocolate for a glossy finish.
