- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets (about 1 lb)
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 sleeve (about 1.5 oz) Ritz crackers, crushed
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Steam the broccoli in a pot for about 5 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
- In a large bowl, combine steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix well until fully combined.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top evenly with crushed Ritz crackers.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cracker layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in garlic or onion powder. You can also add cooked chicken or ham for a heartier meal.
