Description

A simple and low-calorie treat that satisfies sweet cravings without derailing your weight loss journey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 packet sugar free flavored gelatin (any flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (optional, for a firmer texture)
  • A squeeze of lemon or lime (optional)
  • Small cups or silicone molds

Instructions

  1. Pour the boiling water into a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle in the sugar free flavored gelatin. Stir for about 1 minute until it is fully dissolved.
  3. If you are using unflavored gelatin, sprinkle it in now and stir again until smooth.
  4. Add the cold water and stir. If you like a tiny zing, add a small squeeze of lemon or lime.
  5. Pour into small cups or molds. Refrigerate for at least 120-180 minutes.

Notes

If you are newly post-op or sensitive to very cold foods, let your gelatin sit on the counter for 5 minutes before eating.
