- 1 tablespoon (about 10 g) unflavored powdered gelatin
- 1 cup (240 ml) liquid (water, tea, fruit juice, or broth)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) cold water (for blooming)
Instructions
- Start by measuring 1 tablespoon of unflavored powdered gelatin per 1 cup of liquid.
- Sprinkle the gelatin over 1/4 cup cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Warm the remaining 3/4 cup of liquid to about 140°F (60°C).
- Whisk in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved, avoiding boiling.
- Pour into molds or a shallow pan and refrigerate at 35–40°F (2–4°C) for at least 2–4 hours.
Notes
For flavored versions, feel free to use citrus juices or herbs. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
