- 1/4 cup (60 ml) cold water
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) hot liquid (120–140°F / 49–60°C)
- Flavorings or sweeteners of choice
Instructions
- Measure 1 tablespoon unflavored powdered gelatin.
- Sprinkle gelatin evenly over 1/4 cup cold water.
- Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Add 3/4 cup hot liquid and whisk until completely dissolved.
- Stir in flavorings or sweeteners.
- Pour into molds or a pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 2–4 hours until fully set.
Notes
For a creamy texture, try using coconut milk. For vegan options, substitute gelatin with agar-agar.
