- 2 cups crushed Doritos (original or nacho cheese)
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1.5 lb chicken tenders
Instructions
- Crush Doritos into coarse crumbs using a food processor or a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
- Season the flour with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Beat the eggs with milk to create the egg wash.
- Dredge chicken tenders in flour, dip them in the egg wash, and then press into the crushed Doritos.
- Place the coated tenders on a wire rack.
- Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Alternatively, fry at 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
Notes
For a different flavor, try using various Dorito flavors like Cool Ranch or Spicy Sweet Chili. Serve with sauces like ranch or chipotle mayo for extra zing.
