Description

Crunchy Dorito Chicken Tenders are a fun, flavorful twist on the classic chicken tenders, perfect for family dinners and game nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed Doritos (original or nacho cheese)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1.5 lb chicken tenders

Instructions

  1. Crush Doritos into coarse crumbs using a food processor or a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  2. Season the flour with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Beat the eggs with milk to create the egg wash.
  4. Dredge chicken tenders in flour, dip them in the egg wash, and then press into the crushed Doritos.
  5. Place the coated tenders on a wire rack.
  6. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Alternatively, fry at 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.

Notes

For a different flavor, try using various Dorito flavors like Cool Ranch or Spicy Sweet Chili. Serve with sauces like ranch or chipotle mayo for extra zing.
