Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting and serving.
