- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 box (9×13 size) dark chocolate brownie mix
- Food coloring (orange & purple for Halloween)
- Optional: Halloween sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare a baking pan with foil or parchment.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
- Add food coloring to the cream cheese mixture as desired.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan, then swirl in the cream cheese mixture, followed by the remaining brownie batter.
- Bake until just set in the middle, being careful not to overbake.
- Let cool, then cut into squares and serve. Optionally, top with melted chocolate and candy eyes.
Notes
For a Halloween twist, drizzle melted chocolate and add candy eyes. Can be made gluten or dairy free with appropriate substitutes.
