Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn syrup (or pure maple syrup)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans (toasted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just mixed.
  3. Fold in the toasted pecans.
  4. Pour the filling into the pre-made pie crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the edges are puffed and the center jiggles slightly.
