- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 cup corn syrup (or pure maple syrup)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecans (toasted)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just mixed.
- Fold in the toasted pecans.
- Pour the filling into the pre-made pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the edges are puffed and the center jiggles slightly.
- Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For a twist, you can use honey or add chocolate chips. Cover edges with foil if browning too quickly.
