Description

A flavor-packed Korean dish made by marinating and stir-frying chicken thighs with a sweet and savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Lettuce leaves, for wrapping
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Add sliced chicken to the marinade and mix well. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat.
  4. Stir-fry the marinated chicken in the hot skillet for about 10-15 minutes until golden and caramelized.
  5. Serve over rice or in lettuce wraps, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

Marinating overnight enhances the flavor significantly. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
