- 1 lb chicken thighs, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Lettuce leaves, for wrapping
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add sliced chicken to the marinade and mix well. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat.
- Stir-fry the marinated chicken in the hot skillet for about 10-15 minutes until golden and caramelized.
- Serve over rice or in lettuce wraps, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
Marinating overnight enhances the flavor significantly. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
