Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples (Granny Smith or your choice)
  • 1 cup soft caramel candies
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate (milk, dark, or white)
  • Optional toppings: chopped toasted nuts, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, crushed cookies, shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Slice the apples not too thin and pat them dry.
  2. Melt the caramel candies with heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
  3. Dip apple slices in caramel and lay them on parchment paper.
  4. While the caramel is still sticky, drizzle melted chocolate over the apple slices.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate sets.
  6. Add any optional toppings before the chocolate hardens. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of flaky salt on top of the chocolate drizzle.
