- Fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- In a cold bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and optional vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Spread a generous layer of whipped cream on two slices of bread.
- Arrange sliced strawberries on the whipped cream.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread to form a sandwich.
- Chill the sandwich in the fridge for at least an hour.
- Using a sharp, serrated knife, slice the sandwich with the crusts removed for cleaner lines and presentation.
