Description

Warm cookie cups loaded with melty chocolate and gooey marshmallows, capturing the spirit of a campfire treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Scoop the dough into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  9. Immediately press mini marshmallows and a piece of chocolate into the center of each cookie cup.
  10. Let cool slightly before removing from the tin.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Don’t overmix the dough.
