- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Optional: Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the elbow macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until caramelized. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until fragrant and onions are translucent.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 5-10 minutes until everything is heated through and flavors meld.
- If desired, stir in shredded cheese just before serving.
- Serve in deep bowls, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For a healthier dish, use lean ground beef or substitute with ground turkey. You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini for extra nutrition.
