- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter, shredded coconut, and maple syrup until well mixed.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt dark chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler until smooth.
- Dunk each ball into the melted chocolate to coat and return to the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with extra shredded coconut and chopped almonds before the chocolate sets.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to an hour before serving.
Notes
For a nut-free version, substitute almond butter with sunflower seed butter. Chill time is crucial for texture.
