Quick and flavorful ground turkey rice bowls topped with a creamy, spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients

- 1 cup dry jasmine rice
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2–3 tbsp sriracha (to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- Shredded cabbage or carrots
- Cucumber, sliced
- Green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground turkey with oil, garlic, and ginger until fully cooked (about 6–8 minutes).
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the bang bang sauce.
- Assemble bowls with rice, ground turkey, veggies, and drizzle with the bang bang sauce.
Notes
This recipe is easily customizable with different grains or proteins and makes for excellent meal prep.
