Instructions
- Rinse basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, sauté minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
- Add the rinsed rice and toast for a minute.
- Pour in water or broth and lemon juice, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and let it simmer until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
