- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for topping)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Drain excess fat and stir in cream cheese until well combined.
- Add fresh green beans and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the casserole is bubbly and heated through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a spicier variation, add diced jalapeños or taco seasoning. You can also substitute ground beef for turkey or change green beans for broccoli.
