- 1 pound fresh crab meat
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or cilantro)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Mix gently until well combined, being careful not to break the crab meat too much.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a metal baking tray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Serve with tangy tartar sauce or zesty lemon aioli for dipping. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
