Delicious baked crab bombs that are crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh crab meat
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or cilantro)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Mix gently until well combined, being careful not to break the crab meat too much.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a metal baking tray.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Serve with tangy tartar sauce or zesty lemon aioli for dipping. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
