- 1 cup silken tofu
- 200g dark chocolate (dairy-free)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (for cake)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup plant-based milk (your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blend silken tofu, melted dark chocolate, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth and creamy for the mousse.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and plant-based milk to create the cake batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30 minutes until set but moist.
- Once cooled, spread the mousse layer on top and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Garnish with fresh berries and serve with coconut whipped cream.
