Description

Indulge in a rich, velvety chocolate mousse cake that is completely plant-based and guilt-free.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup silken tofu
  • 200g dark chocolate (dairy-free)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (for cake)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup plant-based milk (your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blend silken tofu, melted dark chocolate, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth and creamy for the mousse.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and plant-based milk to create the cake batter.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30 minutes until set but moist.
  5. Once cooled, spread the mousse layer on top and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Garnish with fresh berries and serve with coconut whipped cream.
