Description

Quick and delicious teriyaki chicken wraps that allow for endless customization with fillings and flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 4 tortillas (whole wheat or spinach)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup mixed greens
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a mixture of soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes。
  2. Sauté the marinated chicken in a hot pan until fully cooked (165°F, 74°C).
  3. Fill tortillas with the sautéed chicken and your choice of vegetables.
  4. Roll the tortillas tightly and slice them in half to serve.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with extra teriyaki sauce or spicy mayo for dipping.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. You can also use tofu for a vegetarian version.
