A simple, flavorful slow cooker meal featuring juicy chicken breasts or thighs with ranch seasoning and pepperoncini for a tangy kick.

  • Total Time: 255 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 lbs Chicken Breasts or Thighs (boneless, skinless recommended)
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 packet Au Jus Gravy Mix
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoncini Peppers
  • Black pepper or chicken broth (to taste, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your slow cooker (line it for easy cleanup if desired).
  2. Layer the chicken in the slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle the ranch mix and au jus packet over the chicken.
  4. Top with sliced butter and add the pepperoncini, pouring in a splash of the pepper brine if you like.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours without opening the lid.
  6. Once the chicken is fall-apart tender, shred it right in the crockpot using two forks.
  7. Serve and enjoy your meal!

Notes

For serving, consider stuffed sandwiches, over mashed potatoes, or with rice. It also freezes well; defrost before reheating to maintain juiciness.
