Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or steak, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer the diced potatoes, seasoned ground beef or steak, onion, and green bell pepper in a slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; pour over the layered ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded provolone cheese on top, cover, and allow to melt.
  5. Serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute sweet potatoes for regular potatoes and use turkey or chicken instead of beef. Add other veggies like mushrooms or spinach for more flavor.
