- 4 large potatoes, diced
- 1 lb ground beef or steak, sliced
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Layer the diced potatoes, seasoned ground beef or steak, onion, and green bell pepper in a slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; pour over the layered ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded provolone cheese on top, cover, and allow to melt.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute sweet potatoes for regular potatoes and use turkey or chicken instead of beef. Add other veggies like mushrooms or spinach for more flavor.
