- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 8 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
Instructions
- Place the chicken in a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch packet over the top.
- Add chicken broth and top with cream cheese cubes.
- Cook on LOW for 3–4 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Shred with two forks or a hand mixer and stir in cheddar and bacon.
- Return to LOW for 10–15 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Serve hot.

Use a digital thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F. For best texture, shred chicken in the pot while it’s hot.
