Description

Delicious egg rolls filled with warm, syrupy peach filling, offering a crunchy treat perfect for dessert or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced ripe peaches
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Beaten egg (for sealing)
  • 2 inches of oil (for frying)
  • Cinnamon sugar (for dusting)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 teaspoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the diced peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, ground cinnamon, lemon juice, and butter over medium heat until thickened (about 4–6 minutes).
  2. Cool the filling to room temperature (or chill for 10–15 minutes).
  3. Place about 2 tablespoons of filling on each egg roll wrapper and brush edges with beaten egg.
  4. Fold and roll the wrappers tightly.
  5. Fry in 2 inches of oil at 350°F for 2–3 minutes per side until golden, or bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, or air-fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.
  6. Dust with cinnamon sugar or drizzle with vanilla glaze before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce for a delightful treat.
