Delicious and fun pan-fried dumplings that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with a savory mixture of meat and veggies.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Dumpling wrappers
  • Ground meat (pork, chicken, or beef)
  • Chopped garlic
  • Chopped green onions
  • Shredded cabbage
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground meat, garlic, green onions, cabbage, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place a small amount of the filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  3. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Place the dumplings in the pan and fry until the bottoms are golden and crispy.
  6. Add a little water to the pan, cover, and steam for a few minutes to cook the filling through.
  7. Serve with dipping sauce.

Notes

Make sure the edges of the dumpling wrappers are well-sealed to prevent filling from leaking out. Don’t overcrowd the pan when frying; cook in batches if needed.
