Description

Delightfully crispy and light, these air fryer gluten-free donuts are a game changer for snack time without the grease.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour blend
  • 1/4 cup sugar (white or coconut)
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk (any type)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil
  • Powdered sugar for glaze
  • Splash of milk for glaze

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gluten-free flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine warm milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and allow the dough to rest for a few minutes.
  4. Shape the dough into donuts and place them in the air fryer basket with space in between each.
  5. Air fry until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  6. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with a splash of milk until smooth and drizzle over cooled donuts.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container. For best taste, glaze donuts just before serving.
