Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken and vibrant vegetables in a rich creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, zucchini)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the chicken cubes until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook until they soften, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until combined.
  6. Simmer the mixture for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, substitute some heavy cream with low-fat milk. Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking chicken to ensure even browning.
