A quick, creamy garlic chicken dish with a rich, silky sauce that melts in your mouth, perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour (or cornstarch for GF)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
- Lemon wedge (for serving)
Instructions
- Season and lightly pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2–3/4 inch.
- Heat olive oil in a hot skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and let rest.
- Reduce heat to medium and sauté minced garlic in butter for 30–45 seconds.
- Sprinkle flour (or cornstarch) into the pan and cook briefly.
- Deglaze with chicken broth and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan.
- Simmer the sauce for 4–6 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to pan and finish cooking for 2–3 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with parsley and squeeze lemon juice over before serving.
Notes
For a silkier sauce, grate Parmesan fresh and whisk it in off-heat. Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3-4 days.
