Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 12 oz tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup cream or milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, and add to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Reduce the heat and add Velveeta cheese and cream (or milk) to the skillet, stirring until smooth.
- Fold in the cooked tortellini until well-coated with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Use fresh tortellini for a more tender bite. Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for extra spice. Stir the sauce continuously to prevent sticking.
