Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 23 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup warm chicken broth
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season and pound chicken to an even thickness, then sear in a hot skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side until golden.
  2. Remove the chicken, lower the heat to medium, and sauté minced garlic for 30–45 seconds.
  3. Deglaze the pan with warm chicken broth, then whisk in softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  4. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 6–10 minutes or transfer to a 375°F oven for 8–12 minutes until the internal temperature hits 165°F.
  5. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes before serving to lock in juices.
