Description

A delightful twist on traditional bread, bursting with tart cranberries and rich walnuts for a perfect balance of sweet and nutty flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients: eggs, milk, and melted butter.
  4. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients gently to combine.
  5. Carefully fold in the cranberries and walnuts to preserve their shape.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 50-60 minutes.
  7. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve with cream cheese or butter and enjoy for breakfast or as a snack. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
