- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tsp fresh sage, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and celery until soft, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed veggies, cranberries, breadcrumbs, eggs, thyme, and sage. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small balls using about two tablespoons per ball and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
For added crunch, you can include chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts. Adjust the cranberries according to your taste for sweetness.
