- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 cups fresh apples, diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the diced apples gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
