- 1.5 pounds Ground Meat (beef and chicken or turkey)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 large Eggs
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- 0.25 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper, freshly ground
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix gently.
- Add the minced garlic, chopped onion, and parsley. Mix gently until combined.
- Crack in the eggs, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Drizzle or brush the meatballs with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and browned.
- Let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve hot, over pasta, in a sandwich, or on their own.
Notes
Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatballs tender. You can use a cookie scoop for uniform size.
