Delicious and easy-to-make homemade meatballs, perfect for spaghetti, sandwiches, or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Ground Meat (beef and chicken or turkey)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix gently.
  3. Add the minced garlic, chopped onion, and parsley. Mix gently until combined.
  4. Crack in the eggs, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  5. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Drizzle or brush the meatballs with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and browned.
  8. Let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Serve hot, over pasta, in a sandwich, or on their own.

Notes

Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatballs tender. You can use a cookie scoop for uniform size.
