Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients.
- In a saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, and water.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture reaches 300°F (149°C).
- Pour the toffee onto a lined baking sheet and allow it to cool.
- Add your choice of toppings while still warm.
- Once cooled, break the toffee into pieces.
Notes
Use a candy thermometer for best results. Cool completely before breaking into pieces.
