Instructions

- Season the prime rib generously with salt, pepper, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
- Place the prime rib in a roasting pan on a rack.
- Roast at high heat for 20 minutes to develop a crust.
- Lower the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and cook until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness.
- Let the prime rib rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
