- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
- 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil (for cinnamon swirl)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (for cinnamon swirl)
- 1/2–1 tsp cinnamon (for cinnamon swirl)
Instructions
- Combine rolled oats with milk in a bowl or jar.
- Stir in Greek yogurt (or chia seeds), maple syrup (or brown sugar), vanilla, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- For cinnamon swirl, melt butter or coconut oil in a saucepan, then add brown sugar and cinnamon; mix until dissolved.
- Drizzle the cinnamon mixture over the oat mixture and swirl gently.
- Transfer to jars, cover, and refrigerate for at least 6–8 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, give a quick stir and add desired toppings.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use almond, oat, or soy milk and replace Greek yogurt with a non-dairy alternative. Adjust the sweetness and toppings as per preference.
